The Westlake Kite Festival is held annually each spring. For 2006, the festivities will be held from 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturday and Sunday, April 8 - 9. The Kite Festival has traditionally been a fundraiser for organizations such as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Admission to the festival is free, although donations to cover the expense of event operations are gratefully accepted.
For crafters, exhibitors and commercial entities, we ask $25 for booth space only, with one item of your choosing as donation to the fundraiser auction held at the conclusion of Saturday's actvities. Tables, chairs, tents, etc. are YOUR responsibility and will NOT be provided. Electricity/RV hookup space is available, on a first come basis. Please feel free to contact us for further information concerning planned events and dates, or to inquire about organizing and holding your special event here.
